It’s baaaaaackkk!!!! 🙂 One of the longest continuous running fitness competitions in the Northwest returns for the 6th consecutive year and hosted once more by the wonderful folks at CrossFit 3-46 GRIT! WODTOBERFEST™ promises to once again be one of the premiere competitions in the Northwest. The WODTOBERFEST™ is open to all level of athletes over the age of 18. All athletes are encouraged to familiarize themselves with different fitness domains; more specifically to have some exposure to CrossFit-style workouts and powerlifting. The Rx division includes all powerlifting, bodyweight, and gymnastic movements. The Scaled division will include lighter weight and less advanced movements than Rx. All athletes will be required to sign a waiver.

Cost:
o EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION $220 per team UNTIL MIDNIGHT AUGUST 11th
o $240 per team starting on Monday, August 12th*
o YOU MUST REGISTER BY THE AUGUST 12TH DEADLINE TO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR TEAM RECEIVES YOUR SHIRT! (The order goes to the printer on Monday!)
o Fee includes
o 3-4 competition workouts + finals for top teams

*– Entry fee cannot be refunded, but it can be transferred to another individual or team up to 1 week before the event.

In addition, we are excited to announce the addition of two new divisions to ALL NWFG competitions going forward. We are debuting our Pre-Teen and Teen divisions at the Capital City Throwdown! The CAPITAL CITY THROWDOWN™ is open to all level of athletes over the age of 10. All athletes are encouraged to familiarize themselves with different fitness domains; more specifically to have some exposure to CrossFit-style workouts and powerlifting. The Rx division includes all powerlifting, bodyweight, and gymnastic movements. The Scaled division will include lighter weight and less advanced movements than Rx. The Novice division is for athletes who have been Crossfitting less than 6 months and/or athletes who are apprehensive about their first competition. The Masters division requires the competitor to be 40 years old or older during the 2019 calendar year. The Pre-Teen and Teen division have definitive age ranges listed above. All athletes will be required to sign a waiver. For the Pre-Teen and Teen divisions, a parent/guardian must sign the waiver and remain ON SITE during the competition.

Cost
o $100 per athlete until April 1st; $125 at midnight on April 2nd.
o PRE-TEEN/TEEN/NOVICE PRICE: $80 per athlete until April 1st; $100 after midnight on April 2nd.
o Fee includes
o 3-4 competition workouts + finals for top 3 teams in each division (except Novice/Pre-Teen/Teen)

The event that started it all is BACK for a 7th consecutive year! We are switching back to a two person format for teams, but we’ve added some options for divisions for our younger demographic. What do we have up our sleeve for 2019? Register to find out!!! 🙂

The SALEM SLAUGHTERFEST™ is now open to all level of athletes from ages 10 and up. 16 and 17 year olds may participate in the scaled division. The RX division is open to all athletes 18 and up. All athletes are encouraged to familiarize themselves with different fitness domains; more specifically to have some exposure to CrossFit-style workouts and powerlifting. The Rx division includes all powerlifting, bodyweight, and gymnastic movements. The Scaled division will include lighter weight and less advanced movements than Rx. All athletes will be required to sign a waiver.

* Masters Division Update!! We are changing the masters age requirements from 40+ per athlete to 75+ for the whole team of 2. However, there cannot be anyone younger than 30 years old on the team. Be prepared to bring photo ID to the event as that will be needed at registration. Same for the team of 4, but double the total age to 150 with nobody younger than 30.

Cost
– 2 Person Teams:
o $200 per team until March 1st; $240 after midnight on March 1st.
o NOVICE,TEEN, YOUTH PRICES: $180 per team until March 1st; $220 after midnight on March 1st.
– 4 Person Teams:
o $400 per team until March 1st; $460 after midnight on March 1st.
o Fee includes
o 3-4 competition workouts + finals for top 3 teams in each division (except Novice, Teen, and Youth)

Second annual Track Town Smack Down is open to all level of athletes over the age of 18. Athletes are encouraged to familiarize themselves with different fitness domains; more specifically to have some exposure to CrossFit-style workouts and powerlifting.  The Rx division includes all powerlifting, bodyweight, and gymnastic movements.  We will not program muscle ups in regular competition, however they have shown up in finals. Master’s division is a hybrid of Rx and scaled weights and movements. The Scaled division will include lighter weight and less advanced movements than Rx.  All athletes will be required to sign a waiver.

Cost
o $330 per team* (discounted to $290 until December 8 at midnight)
o Fee includes
– 3 or 4 competition workouts + finals for top teams
– Track Town Smack Down attire (t-shirt for men/tank for ladies)
o Entry fee cannot be refunded, but it can be transferred to another individual up to 1 week before the event.

Prizes
Cash for winners:
o First Place: $500* + Trophy
o Second Place: $400* + Trophy
o Third Place: $300* + Trophy
o Cash prizes contingent upon 300 athlete participation and ONLY FOR Rx TEAMS.
