Divisions (this event has a HARD CAP of 60 teams across all divisions):

• Male/Male or Female/Female 2 person team Divisions:
  • Advanced (Rx)
  • Masters (standards between scaled and Rx) (Cumulative age of 80 years old; below 35 years old not permitted)
  • Intermediate (Scaled)
  • Novice (No Finals)

Join us for the 2025 version of REINDEER GAMES^tm team event hosted this year at FireHouse CrossFit!  We will once again test all that is fitness and find out who’s the fittest same-gender team this holiday season!

The REINDEER GAMES^tm is open to all level of athletes over the age of 16 years old. (must have parent signature/approval for all athletes under 18 years of age) All athletes are encouraged to familiarize themselves with different fitness domains; more specifically to have some exposure to CrossFit-style workouts and powerlifting.  The Rx division includes all powerlifting, bodyweight, and gymnastic movements.  NW Fit Games does not program ring muscle ups in regular competition, however they have shown up in finals, so be prepared. The Scaled division will include lighter weight and less advanced movements than Rx.  All athletes will be required to sign a waiver.

Cost
o For the first 20 teams, it will be $200 per team.  For the next 40 teams, it will be $250 per team. Heat assignments based upon registration date; register later, you’re in an earlier heat.
o Fee includes
– 3 competition workouts + finals for top teams
– REINDEER GAMES^tm t-shirt (unisex sizing) (Must be registered by Wednesday, November 19^th, to guarantee you get your shirt/tank)
o Entry fee cannot be refunded, but it can be transferred to another team up to 1 week before the event.

Spectators—Important Information

·       Athlete camp for this event will be 100% outdoors.  Bring pop up tents, campers, or whatever else you need to stay dry and warm.
·       Warmup area will be under large tents outside.  (FireHouse isn’t that big…sorry folks!)

Gobbler Gauntlet 2025

Divisions:

• All divisions register here (we will follow up asking for your division and other info):
  • MMM Team Registration
  • FFF Team Registration
• Available Divisions are:
  • Masters
    • Cumulative age of 3 members must be 120 years or more ; no athlete on team can be younger than 35. These participants tend to be old and salty but don’t underestimate the grit and determination from this group!
  • Novice (and Youth)
    • People that are new to Crossfit Training, young, or otherwise just want to have a fun day without the pressure of finals. We celebrate everyone who shows up with a good attitude and works hard!
  • Scaled
    • Scaled athletes “generally” scale workouts at your own gym. This is NOT (repeat NOT) for Rx athletes that struggle with one or two skills like double unders or muscle ups. Scaled weights are lighter, but there will be things like pull ups and toes to bar. Find teammates that compliment your skills!
  • Rx
    • Rx athletes CAN do most everything but do not need to be proficient at everything. As a team it would be smart if one person can do high skill movements like muscle ups and HSPU (not everyone will need to be able to do those movements). WOD movements will be released ahead of time so you can change divisions as needed.

Back for the 13^th year, the GOBBLER GAUNTLET^tm will once again put your fitness to the test! What do Dave and Andy have up their sleeves this year? You’ll have to sign up to find out! 

Join us for the original and premier three-person team event back at CrossFit Salem where it all started! We will once again have a blast, crush some WODs, and find out once again which team is the Gobbler Gauntlet champion!

– Event T-shirt (must register before 10/28/24 to get a shirt)
o Entry fee cannot be refunded, but it can be transferred to another team up to 1 week before the event.

o No cost, limited space though.
